What inspired you to become a stylist?

I was inspired to become a hairstylist because I’ve always loved the way something as simple as hair can completely change how a person feels. Watching someone sit in the chair unsure and leave glowing with confidence is powerful. I realized early on that hair isn’t just hair—it’s identity, expression, healing, and self-love all wrapped into one.

I wanted a career where I could be creative, serve people, and make a real impact in everyday moments. Being a hairstylist allows me to do all of that. I get to build relationships, be part of big life seasons, and help women feel like the best version of themselves. That’s what lights me up—using my hands and heart to help others see their own beauty.

What do you do when you’re not enhancing people’s beauty?

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, cooking something cozy, or curled up with a good book. Faith and family are at the center of everything I do, and they keep me grounded and inspired.

Those moments away from the salon refill my cup and pour right back into the care and heart I bring to every client who sits in my chair.

What color describes your personality and why?

Sage green
If I had to describe my personality as a color, it would be a warm, earthy sage green. It’s calm but confident—grounded, nurturing, and creative. Sage represents growth, balance, and quiet strength, and that feels so true to who I am.

If you could be one hair product, what would you be and why?

If I could be one hair product, I’d be a deep conditioning mask. The kind that restores, strengthens, and brings hair back to life. Not just something that makes things look good on the surface, but something that actually heals from within.
